I’m Jef Taylor—an award-winning editor, producer, and filmmaker with over 20 years of experience crafting video and audio content that connects. My work spans narrative film, viral digital media, branded campaigns, and podcasts, with a focus on sharp editorial decisions, strong pacing, and a clear sense of tone. I’ve collaborated with political orgs, global brands, news outlets, and arts organizations—always aiming for impact, clarity, and personality.
Most recently, I edited and produced The Lincoln Project’s flagship podcast, including an episode that earned a 2025 Webby People’s Voice Award. I also created over 200 rapid-response videos for the organization—many of which racked up millions of views across social platforms and aired on national television. Before that, I led branded campaigns for Hollister, directed influencer content, and freelanced for clients like the ACLU, The New York Times, and Vogue.
My narrative work includes short films that have screened at Sundance, São Paulo, and Nashville. After You Left premiered at Sundance and won Best Dramatic Short at the Detroit Windsor International Film Festival. I also created the original series ADULTS, which I wrote, directed, edited, and acted in.
I’m currently open to new creative collaborations in video editing, podcast production, or digital content—especially projects that blend story, personality, and a strong point of view.
